Kamiti Secondary School is a public secondary school serving students from diverse backgrounds across Nairobi.
During our visit, one message stood out from our conversations with the school’s leadership: although many students are highly motivated and eager to learn, not all of them have the same opportunities.
Some come from families facing significant financial hardship, making it difficult to afford school fees, uniforms or essential learning materials. As a result, some students are forced to interrupt their education despite their determination to stay in school and build a better future.
Kimani Foundation is committed to working alongside the school to help reduce these barriers and ensure that more students have the opportunity to continue learning and reaching their full potential.
